Welcome to the University of Newcastle Business and Commerce Association!

UoN BusCom is a growing not-for-profit student association with over 550 members and 20 corporate and local partnerships. As an integral part of the university and the broader Newcastle business community, BusCom enhances the student experience by delivering academic, career, and personal development opportunities. This is achieved by connecting students with industry, across professional, sporting and social events. The BusCom Board comprises twelve elected individuals, currently studying various disciplines within the Faculty of Business and Law. This incredible team works hard to bring valuable opportunities to life for our members and ensures as an Association; we succeed in enhancing students’ university experience by creating long-lasting friendships among members and fostering professional networks and partnerships. 

Our members – the University of Newcastle Business and Commerce Association – and the Board are extraordinary students whose excellence shapes the region's future success and beyond. We are always offering new ways for our members to develop their career readiness and skills through events, workshops, seminars and guest speakers. We are just as competitive on the field. Members proudly represent the Association by throwing on red, white and blue in fun competitions including squash, tennis, swimming, touch footy, 7-a-side soccer and golf.
