Recruiting and Retaining the Talent Pool Women in Logistics and Transport - Panel Discussion

  • Main Lounge, Newcastle Club 40 Newcastle Street Newcastle NSW 2300 Australia (map)

Dinner Function

Please join the members of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Hunter Section for an engaging and thought provoking evening. The theme to be explored is how can the Logistics and Transport Industry increase the talent pool through recruiting and retaining women. It is predicted there will be a 26% increase in the demand for logistics and transport professionals over the next 5 years. There is no way this increase can be met while the logistics and transport industry continues to have only a 20% female workforce.

There will be a panel of three leaders with very different career pathways who are providing leadership in the Logistics and Transport industries. They will each provide some insight into such things as the barriers and challenges and how these may be overcome. They will then take part in a panel discussion including questions from the floor.
