Greater Bank, UON Economics and Finance Society & UoN BusCom are partnering to deliver a 3 part series of workshops showcasing the state of the art, Greater Bank Finance Lab at NeW Space, The University of Newcastle.
SESSION 1 - Wednesday 11 March, 6pm
Session 1 of the Greater Finance Lab Series is underway! Kick off the semester and learn how to access and use the lab to enhance your degree! Spaces are limited so don't forget to get in quick for those tickets!
SESSION 2 - Wednesday 1 April, 6pm
Session #2 is here and its all about Factset and what it can do for you! Check out this powerful economic and finance tool that helps you analyse all types of data! We will show you the basics and then let you get your hands dirty as you play with it yourself! Plus we might show you some sweet tricks on how to use it to enhance your finance, economics and accounting assignments this semester!
SESSION 3 - Wednesday 6 May, 6pm
The final session of the series is here and its going to be a fun one! We promise! They called it academically sound investment strategy, we like to call it get some real world examples of how you can use the lab, and learn some fun facts about economics and finance along the way!
